Six degrees of bloggernation

For the first time I was tagged by a stranger for a blog meme. Because I was just reading about Kevin Bacon and 6 degrees of separation... and because I once made the mistake of calling it 5 degrees of freedom (you will only find this funny if you are a super nerd like me), I will play along. Thanks for the idea Lords of the Manor

The way it works is: You simply click on one of the links in your own sidebar, and then click on a link in that person's side bar, and so on, 6 times and see what fun new blogs you discover and where you end up. Then post about all the exciting new blogs you read so the rest of us can find them too.

For my first jump I headed over to sometimes... why? Besides being a long time friend, this blogger's posts are right up my alley. Lots of Dexter pictures, and my favorite... the hamburger video

Next stop Blog Sweet Blog This is another friend from a lifetime ago with a great blog about family life. In addition (I am cheating a little bit here) Blog Sweet Blogger's top blog to read is her photography site, where she shows her amazing professional photography. I totally wish I was able to rock my SLR like this!!

Fourth stop is at oh my words a blogger I had heard about through friends, but a blog I had never visited. This blog also has great photography and good TFT's (Thoughts for Thursday's)... Most recently a post on wedding rings, which I have also been thinking about lately as we only decided on an engagement ring for me, and never actually got a band. For work it would be great to have a small "plain" band for when I am traveling.. so maybe at our 5 year?? hint hint Aquaman??

Fifth stop is at Rants and Raves, and oddly enough another ring story in the second most recent blog post.. A good ring story too. The next post down talks about a shared issue we have... the inability to say no to playing with our children (while in my case my puppy, but he is potentially the closest thing I will ever have to a child). Ever since we picked Benson out, our life has changed. He is so cute and fun, and when he looks at me with his brown button eyes, I can't resist playing with him. It is even getting so bad I have been sleeping on the hardwood floor in the mornings after Aquaman leaves for work so I can be closer to Benson.

My sixth and final stop on the blog tour was at Notes From Inside My Head I love this blog because I can actually hear a great UK accent in my head as I read it. I especially like the blog post titles like "all mouth and no trousers" about the joys of learning to swim, and "Water water everywhere...", which talks about peeing on trees.

And just in case you were overwhelmed (or bored) by potentially my longest blog ever, I have included more pictures of the new baby. He got his second set of shots this week, and gained 1.5 lbs since we got him, for a grand total of 4.5 lbs. What a monster.. at least that is what I affectionately call him.

Feel free to join in the blog jump fun!!

what you do is put the dog in the bed after T leaves for work instead of you on the floor :)
